On Wednesday we carried out our sponsored walk for Stand By Me. This charity helps to provide clean drinking water for people in Africa.
In order to get a sense of how hard it is to collect water, we walked around our school field carrying some jerrycans of water. We found this really hard to do as they got really heavy! And they weren't even full....
Danny also explained to us how Stand By Me provide water filters to make sure the water is clean and safe to drink.
