Breaking News! Magherafelt Primary school is thrilled to announce that we have won the award for the Best Primary School in Co. London Derry 2023!

We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded this prestigious accolade by Families First NI, particularly as it was based on the votes and comments of our parents and school community. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our fantastic staff, pupils, and parents.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who voted for us and supported us throughout the nomination process. We couldn't have done it without your ongoing support and encouragement.

P1 Applications Jan 2024

Attention parents: it's time to apply for a P1 place at our school! Here are three reasons why you should give your child the best start in life with us:

  2. We have excellent wraparound care. We have a breakfast club from 7:45 in Morning and after school care which runs to 6pm.
