We were set the challenge of proving that some items in school are magnetic and some or not! It was great fun. We used our classroom and the resource area to carry out the experiment.
We discovered that
- all the magnetic items were metal but not all metals are magnetic,
- the non-magnetic materials were also made from plastic and wood.
