On Wednesday 18th October we celebrated Maths Day Ireland. We did Maths all day. We had practical maths lessons on time, multiplication tables games and a maths investigation. Our investigation was “Don’t squash the grape!” We had to create a 3D net shape packaging for a grape. We then tested how strong our design was by putting weights on top of it. The winning group were presented with a prize in Assembly. We all really enjoyed Maths Day!
