It was a pleasure to welcome Yvonne Fleming a visiting author from Maghera, who came to school to share her new picture book called 'Sammy Sun is coming out to Play'. Pupils listened attentively as Yvonne read her story and shared information about 'The Weatherbies' who live in Puddle Lane. The children were introduced to a variety of characters including Colin Cloud, Rosie Rainbow and Flo Snow to name a few and learned their individual songs as well.
