As part of our Shared Education programme, P4 enjoyed a wonderful history trip in Magherafelt. The children learned about the local area through a guided walk to the hospital, which was once a workhouse, a tour of the old Bridewell, and a “Then and Now” talk exploring how children’s lives in the past were different from life today. The pupils were very engaged and asked fantastic questions, showing great interest in the local history.
