P4 have been exploring direction and compass points during numeracy. As part of our water theme, the children enjoyed making their own compasses using water, leaves, paper clips and magnets. They loved investigating how magnets work and watching their compasses point north!
This was a fantastic hands on activity which helped develop out understanding of direction, mapping skills and simple science investigations. Well done P4!?
