The Primary 1 children have been exploring pumpkins. We compared the size and weight of real pumpkins in maths and counted the seeds. We made pumpkin crafts as part of our ‘p’ phonics work. We made pumpkin soup in the mud kitchen in outdoor play and hammered in some golf tees. We even did some experiments and investigations as part of our STEM learning. Did you know that pumpkins float? And they are super strong!
