Today was a sad day but a very special one. The whole school came together to say farewell and thank you to Mrs Fleming after 40 years of dedicated service to our school. Words cannot express how grateful we are to her for everything she has done in this time and we are so sorry to see her retire.
The celebrations began with a party lunch. Lots of yummy food, cake and music. Next we all met in the hall to present her with some mementos of the classes. There was even a special song which we had all been rehearsing all week.
The final surprise of this part was a guard of honour from the entire school. A special thank you to Sian for piping Mrs Fleming along the line.
