The children in P2 were fascinated to hear about the role of a civil engineer today in class. The children listened so well to the well-prepared presentation of information and photographs brought to us by Carol. This visit was made even more memorable when a challenge was set… to make a tower out of 12 Jelly Babies and dried spaghetti. P2 really did get stuck in and worked together in small groups to make these towers before the earthquake shook. The classroom soon became a mess, but it was well worth it. Thank you to Noah for sharing his mummy with us. P2 have been engineers over the past couple of weeks without even realising during Play Based Learning.
