As we are learning about Houses and Homes we recently had a builder visit P2. The children enjoyed hearing about the role of a builder on a building site and how important it is to wear a hard hat, high vis vest and steel toecap boots. Builder Nigel even demonstrated how to lay bricks and showed us some of the tools that are needed. P2 really enjoyed this experience and I am sure we will see some of them on a building site in years to come. As you can see P2 have been enjoying the Construction and Role-Play areas related to this theme during Play Based Learning.
